Our Leadership
Hi. My name is Stephanie Pilsner. I am the director of services and owner of New Heights Pediatric Therapies. I am a Board Certified Speech Language Pathologist. I have been married for 6 years and am the proud mother of a 3 1/2 year old daughter and a 10 month old son. Sorry, the picture’s a little dated, but it’s hard to get a good picture where everyone’s looking at the camera and smiling these days! I graduated from Texas Women’s University with a MS in Communication Sciences and Disorders in May of 2008. I have worked with all ages with differing levels of disabilities. I currently contract part time in the schools in addition to private practice. I grew up in the Clear Lake area as well and am excited that Kari is joining me. I have 2 other wonderful SLPs that work part time after school, Lorissa and Terri. I’m excited to expand into ABA therapy. Occupational therapy and feeding therapy is in the works!
Hi. My name is Kari Rote. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and met Stephanie while working in CCISD. I am thrilled to be joining her practice and bringing ABA therapy with me. I have been married for four years and am the proud mother of a beautiful three year old named Elinore. I graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake’s with a MA in Applied Behavior Analysis in May of 2012 and was certified in September of 2012. My background is diverse, working with all ages of individuals and all levels of functioning aside from typically developing individuals. I have been working in the larger field of developmental disabilties services since 2008. I grew up in the Clear Lake area and am so proud to be serving our community and providing excellent quality services to individuals with Autism and Developmental Disabilities.
Our Clinic
We are located in the heart of Friendswood, Texas and serve the Houston Bay Area including League City, Pearland, Alvin, Santa Fe, Clear Lake, Pasadena, and Seabrook. We have three classroom spaces where we utilize evidenced based practices to improve skills and decrease problem behaviors. We value family-centered and interdisciplinary collaboration in our care. We recognize that our client is not the child but the entire family unit. Furthermore, we aim to prepare our learners for life outside of our classroom by implementing programs that are portable, easy, and effective.
