Elizabeth Hewatt, MA, BCBA, LBA. Elizabeth received her undergraduate degree in elementary education from Midwestern State University in 1997. Her oldest daughter was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 2003. They lived in very rural Kansas, where there were no services available. She made it her mission to bring services to that area. She went to graduate school and earned her Master of Arts in Special Education with emphases in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2014. She worked under other BCBAs at Heartspring, a residential and outpatient facility in Wichita, Kansas while obtaining her degree. After she became a BCBA in August 2014, she opened a non-profit agency, where she worked as the Clinic Director/ BCBA. This agency offered ABA services to children ages 2 -19 diagnosed with Autism. Her family recently relocated to the Clear Lake area because she is originally from Houston; and wanted to return to the area to get closer to family.
