Kari Rote, MA, BCBA, LBA

Kari Rote, our ABA Clinical Director, has been serving those with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 2007. She graduated from St Edward’s University in Austin, TX in 2008 with a BA degree in Psychology. She returned home to Houston and began pursuing her MA while serving as a behavior assistant at a large residential facility. She also held a fellowship with the Lonestar LEND, an interdisciplinary program focused on improving quality of life and quality of service outcomes for those with neuro developmental disabilities through the University of Texas-Houston. She graduated with her MA in Behavior Analysis from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and became a BCBA in 2012. Since graduation, Kari has managed caseloads of clients in both residential settings and in school district settings by assessing problem behavior, writing FBAs and BIPs, working on skill acquisition of desired replacement behaviors and behavior decrease of targeted behaviors. She has also served adult, adolescent, and children in the community as an in-home BCBA.
