Lynn Husband, M.ED, BCBA, LBA

Lynn Husband, M.ED, BCBA, LBA is committed to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards with 16 years of experience supporting exceptional individuals across a variety of settings. Lynn started out as a Special Education teacher in 2006 and has been a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2014. As a graduate of George Mason University, Lynn holds a master’s degree in Special Education and a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has extensive experience utilizing verbal behavior to develop language, teaching functional play skills, and finding functionally equivalent replacement behaviors.  Since becoming certified as a behavior analyst, Lynn has supervised Registered Behavior Technicians and graduate students in public schools, during home based therapy, and directed an early intervention multidisciplinary clinic for individuals with ASD.  Additionally, she has provided telehealth services such as client supervision, case management, and parent training across 5 states for the last 2 years. Her areas of expertise include incidental teaching, Functional Communication Training, verbal behavior, language development, and early intervention. Lynn believes that a strong partnership between families and practitioners that includes communication and feedback is essential for each child to achieve the greatest outcome with therapy. She finds ways to embed learning into everyday activities and to teach caregivers how to utilize the principles of ABA to make socially significant behavior change.  In her free time, she loves taking her kids on Disney Cruises, spending time with her Labradoodle, or enjoying the day at the beach.
